We believe that it is our responsibility to create a real community of moms that celebrate one another. We are in the business of lifting each other up!
There is no such thing as the Mom Olympics or the mom awards. We are introducing The Mom Gala – This is your chance to nominate yourself or a mom pal to be celebrated and to be appreciated for the hardest job in the world-momming.
The MomFest Awards Gala is a 19+ Event.

I actually don’t know this person personally but I have followed her since she started a fundraiser on her page for black lives matter. I purchased a small rainbow wall hanging and I believe she sold almost 500 of them with all donations to different organizations. She also did a contest last year that was applied to by donating to her special link at the Vancouver food bank website. I didn’t win the contest but I believe almost $5000 was raised in the period of that one contest a few days. I love how she always makes everything about the community and giving and never about selfishly trying to promote herself. She also shares really important and current information that makes me want to research and learn further in different fields. Whether it comes to anti-racism, world news, women’s rights, etc. Again, I don’t know this person personally but I followed her for about a year and a half since she started her page and she has become my absolute favourite account on the Internet

This past year Stephanie launched her ‘side hustle’ CinC, a vision of hers for over 10 years, to provide mental health support to all caregivers and to help bridge the gap in holistic caregiver care. During this time she continued her role as an acute care hospital social worker. She is a mama to a 1 and 3 year old and is expecting another little one in early 2022.

Fran Murray is indeed a brand. Her look, her personality, her energy, her baked creations – everything what the Halo needed this year. When she officially went full force with FranMurray.co, the Halo Big Sisters were treated to DIY cookie boxes which only teased us for the bigger launch of her Boxed n Bougie Luxury Trifles. These gourmet treat boxes are filled with sophisticated details and extraordinary flavours that makes you want to celebrate everything in life.
Her passion for the baking industry was shown to theTV world when she showcased her talent on Food Network’s The Big Bake and had all of Club Halo cheering her on. She also creates for corporate and private events and her beautiful wedding cake creations were featured in local magazines and led her to many collabs with the industry’s top event planners.

Sarah-Lynne is the most amazing human and stay at home mom to her three children including beautiful Zoe who was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition. She gives each day with little to no funding from the government for all of Zoe’s medical treatments. There is truly no one more deserving of this award than Sarah-Lynne.

Prior to the first lockdown, Reena was a fitness coach and trainer inside a boutique gym. In 2020, She quickly transitioned her business online, to continue serving her current clientele. In the wave of the 2020 lockdowns, Reena managed two kids under six while growing her online business. Her perseverance and dedication to keeping her business running, and supporting other Moms/Parents during a difficult year through fitness is admirable.
